Castle Rock Cottage is one half of a semi-detached house in a quiet location. It is on two floors with kitchen/dining room and living room downstairs and three bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.
The house provides spacious accommodation for six people. Up to two well behaved pets are also welcome.
The cottage is set back from the road at the top of a short (100m), private road. It has private parking, a large, fenced garden with lawn and outside seating areas, a secure back yard with outhouses and an outside toilet.
Warm and cosy:
The house is centrally heated throughout with underfloor heating on the ground floor.
Double-glazing throughout.
There is a wood-burning stove in the living room. Firewood is not provided but is normally available for purchase from the woodpile for a small fee.
Bedrooms:
Bedroom one has a kingsize double bed.
Bedroom two has a kingsize double bed.
Bedroom three has full size bunkbeds.

Neighbourhood:
The other half of the building is also a holiday house. The small building opposite is used by the estate gamekeeper. There are a couple of other cottages in the hamlet, otherwise the only neighbours are United Utilities who have offices and some storage buildings.
A small stream runs nearby, the area is very quiet and you have a good chance of spotting a wide range of birds and other wildlife.
